Located in the Salnes Valley sub-region of Rias Baixas, the coolest of the five sub-zones, Viña Cartin focuses their dedication to a single grape variety – Albariño. The combination of old vine grapes, averaging 30 years of age, and a brand new winery furnished with the most modern equipment available, gives them the tools they need to craft fresh, clean, and precise wines. Varietally classic aromas of pear and white peach are complemented by melon and citrus, which are echoed on the palate. Its mid-weight body creates a nice balance to the lemony freshness and delicate saline minerality on the finish.
