The Strauss family vineyards are located in Styria, known as “the Green Heart” of Austria thanks to the extensive forest land that covers the rolling Alpine hills present throughout the region. Styria’s hilly and verdant landscape is ideally suited for crafting several crisp, refreshing Austrian white wines such as this Scheurebe - a cross of the Riesling and Silvaner grape varieties. Brothers Karl and Gustav currently run the family business where the Strauss family has been farming for over 200 years. Beautiful aromas of peaches and white flowers lead to a palate of citrus-laced stone fruit and wrapping up with a dry, clean and lively finish.
