Established in 2012, Nine Oaks Estate is a vineyard known for its commitment to producing fine wines inspired by ancient winemaking traditions. Located in the foothills of the Caucasus mountains, overlooking the picturesque Alazani River Valley, the estate gets its name from the nine oak trees that dot the property. The qvevri used to ferment and age their wines are handmade by a master craftsman, who painstakingly builds them up with layers of local clay over a period of time. Their Rkatsiteli spends up to 28 days macerating on the skins in large 4000L qvevri resulting in a rich, savory style boasting notes of butterscotch, honeycomb, and botanical herbs with a structured, tannic finish.
