Chris Johnson, affectionately known as the Sake Ninja, will be in the shop leading a master class through a lineup of four different sakes. Chris currently represents World Sake Imports in the United States and travels the world to showcase their portfolio and share insights and stories of his many years working in the sake industry.
After living and working in Japan for years, Chris returned to the states and started working his way through some of America's best restaurants, both front and back of house. Igniting a love for curating sake and food experiences, Chris became a certified Sake sommelier, WSET Level 3 Sake Educator, and even received the honored title of Sake Samurai.
Chris and his achievements have been featured in the New York Times, Wine Enthusiast, New York Magazine, and multiple Japanese publications as well. We are thrilled to have him and his expertise in the shop leading this course.
The price of your ticket includes the lineup of sakes and a curated snack. All sakes tasted will be available for purchase with a one night only discount! 10% off mix and match bottles, 15% off mix and match on 6 bottles or more.

Cancellation Policy: Sometimes things come up, and we understand! Please let us know if you need to cancel or change your reservations to another available and listed class at least 48 hours prior to the start of class, and we can change your reservation, or provide a refund if you purchased the class directly from The Raleigh Wine Shop. Within the 48 hour window, please call the shop to let us know, but we cannot guarantee exchange or refund of your reservation.
