Situated in the crossroads between Savoie, Burgundy, Jura and Rhone, Bugey has a climate so diverse that you are able to see both palms trees and snow across the region. The land is rich with history, most recently revived by monks who exclusively made sparkling wines, the style we most associate with the region today. This semi-sweet rosé is bursting with bing cherries on the nose and resembles a strawberry parfait on the palate. Made in the traditional Methode Ancestrale, the frothy bubbles are produced in the bottle, but as a continuation of fermentation from the tanks. Due to its lower alcohol, it is versatile as an aperitif, dessert pairing or to enjoy as a mid-day-bubbles with cheese.
