Marc Hebrart Champagne has been operated by Jean-Paul Hebrart since he took over for his father in 1997. A Champagne of understated elegance, this is an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Grand Cru vineyards in Ay, Avize, Chouilly and Oiry. ‘Rive Gauche’ translates to the “left bank,” ‘Rive Droite ‘ to the “right bank” of the River Seine in Paris. This pristine terroir provides Jean-Paul with a stunning foundation onto which he crafts a soaring wine. Fuller bodied and Extra Brut with layers of apple blossom, mint, dried fruits and crushed rocks, this wine has gained complexity through a long, 72-month period of lees aging.
