Mario Lucchetti began his winemaking journey in the 1980s, focusing on Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, an indigenous grape variety from the rural region of Le Marche, Ancona. Passionate about restoring the importance of the area’s native varietals, he has made significant contributions to the region’s wine identity. Recently, his son, Paolo, completed his degree in enology and now works alongside his father. The estate benefits from the expertise of consulting winemaker Alberto Mazzoni, who also advises the Sartarelli estate. This unique yet approachable red offers aromas of violets, black cherry preserves, and plum, with a light-bodied palate of blackberry and blueberry, complemented by earthy undertones and grippy tannins.
