Orange trees perfume the air of Salvatore Lovo’s modern winery that is nestled between the towns of Padova and Vicenza in Colli Euganei. It is a relatively flat area in northeastern Italy and hills appear where this unique Moscato relative grows. Fior d’Arancio, meaning ‘orange blossom’, is an indigenous grape from this area that is used to make sweet, sparkling wines with aromas and flavors nothing short of its name. It is straw yellow in color with glimmering golden tones, fine bubbles anda palate full of ripe peaches. An elegant wine with an aroma that will fill the room as the orange trees do the vineyards.
