Entrepreneur, Leo Hillinger, auteur at his own winery, started studying wine at the early age of 19 where he learned the basics about organic farming in California and later at European domains. Now, if he isn’t at the winery wearing one of his many hats you can find him racing bicycles, at the bicycle shop that he owns, or at one of the five wine shops & bars where he is also a proprietor. This is a juicy blend of both international varietals and the native St. Laurent grape, giving it an intense ruby-red color and a plush mouthfeel that bursts with berry fruit. With hints of blueberry, plum, and chocolate, it’s balanced with a smattering of baking spices and ends with a smooth and silky finish. 

Pairings: Beef Wellington with a ‘Small Hill Red’ wine sauce for dipping
