The Dolomite Mountains tower above the small vineyards of Le Vigne di Alice planted with the antique varietals of the Veneto region of Italy. Although the winery was founded in 2004 by two sisters-in-law, Cinzia Canzian and Pier Francesca Bonicelli, they bring two lifetimes of knowledge of wine and the region to Le Vigne di Alice. The Doro - sourced entirely from Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, the traditional source for the best Prosecco - is their flagship bubbly. Drier than many Proseccos, it flaunts notes of citrus and green apple with hints of biscuits and honey that lead to a lingering minerality on the finish. This is a Prosecco for the Champagne lover.
