Kathi Tinnacher is the latest steward of her family’s winery in Southern Styria, Austria. One of the standout producers in the region, her family’s estate is tucked into the rolling hills near Gamlitz, where vines have been cultivated for centuries. Today, Kathi farms organically with a thoughtful, hands-on approach that shows clearly in her bright and expressive white wines.

Chef Jake Wolf has long been part of Raleigh’s downtown food scene, earning a following for his Austrian and German-inspired cooking. His food is hearty, thoughtful, and full of character — exactly the kind of cooking that feels right alongside the wines of Lackner-Tinnacher.
