Jeff's Notes:
It’s a weird selling point, but I really enjoy this wine because it isn’t like most Sauvignon Blanc. Among the world’s most popular mainstream grape varieties, it’s probably the one I drink the least of. If more of them tasted like this that wouldn’t be the case. It has weight and texture courtesy of extended skin contact and barrel aging, while remaining varietally correct in its freshness and vibrancy. But where most Sauvignon Blanc leans heavily into citrus aromas and flavors (I’m not a fan of grapefruity wines), this is decidedly flinty and minty.
What's Cooking?
Fresh goat cheese ravioli with mint and basil pesto
What do I like to drink?
People think I only drink Nebbiolo from Barolo, but I’m *way* more diverse than that. I’ll also drink Nebbiolo from Alto Piemonte.
