Since 1644 the Quénard family has been making wine at their small domaine in the beautiful Alpine region of Chignin on the edge of the French Alps. After studying winemaking in Burgundy, Bordeaux, and California, Jean-François took over from his father in 1987. This delightfully crisp Jacquére is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel with partial malolactic fermentation which provides just a touch of texture balancing its invigorating and refreshing character. It’s as fresh as mountain air with its notes of apricot, alpine herbs, and bright, mineral-driven finish.
