The Guerrieri and Rizzardi families can trace their roots in the Verona area back to the 1600s. But it was not until 1913 that the families were united by marriage and the Guerrieri-Rizzardi label was born. Though they originally had many agricultural concerns, it was in the wake of World War II that Count Antonio Rizzardi made the decision to focus on grape growing and winemaking. This entry-level Valpolicella blend is kept entirely in stainless steel tanks, making for a medium-bodied and fruit forward wine that drips with juicy plum and black raspberry while still remaining structured with fine tannins and vibrant acidity balancing the richness of the fruit.
