Grape Abduction Company is a side project by fourth generation winemaker Peter Gönc and importer JP Bourgeois - two industry power houses that we are huge fans of. The still wines of Grape Abduction are all hand harvested and treated with the highest degrees of technology and care. Here we have the rosé liter made from one of the oldest domesticated grape vatieties in Slovenia - Žametna Črnina (zhá-met-na ch-r-ní-na) along with a bit of Pinot Noir and Blaufrankisch. Made without the use of oak, this is a bright and refreshing style of rosé. Aromas of guava, strawberry, and banana introduce a light, acid-driven palate with notes of tart grapefruit and ripe tangerine. This liter bottle is perfect to share with friends outside in the sun!
