Established in 1950, Ferlat thrives in the eastern region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, nestled in the esteemed D.O.C. Friuli Isonzo. Now led by two young Friulian vintners, Federica Tabacchi and Moreno Ferlat, who prioritize minimal environmental impact. Certified organic, they shun synthetic chemicals, relying solely on copper, sulfur, and organic, animal-based fertilizers to nurture grapes of unparalleled quality and naturalness. ‘PG Rosa’ undergoes skin contact maceration for varying durations - 2, 4, and 7 days - giving this wine its’ copper-pink hue and floral aromatics. Enticing flavors of vibrant cherry, strawberry, and pomegranate are underscored by refreshing acidity and nuanced by tea-like tannins.
