Domaine Pierre Prieur & Fils has been under the auspices of the Prieur family for ten generations. They own parcels in some of Sancerre’s most sought after terroirs: les Monts Damnés, les Cous de Brault, and le Chêne Marchand. This cuvée from the Priuer brothers is a blend of all their holdings, each representing the three major soil types of Sancerre: Terres Blanches, Caillottes and Silex. This combination yields a wine possessing all the familiar flavors and textures Sancerre fans crave: good weight balanced with light zippy lemon citrus fruit and a hint of flinty gun smoke on the finish. A must-try for diehard fans of Sancerre!
