Julien Cruchandeau was Burgundy born & raised, but not into a wine making or farming family. He trained as a chef and musician before starting his domain in 2003 at the precocious age of 25, and immediately started gaining accolades and attention for his winemaking. A beautiful nose of black cherry and plum lead into spice on the palate along with a structure that is often missing on village level wine, but abundant throughout ‘Les Cabottes.’ Approachable and ready to drink now, let it breathe for a few minutes to bring out the complex mineral driven flavors of this stunning value within Burgundy.
