The view from Domaine de Bel-Air’s perch above the Ardieres Valley is as stunning today as it was nearly 170 years ago when the winery was founded. Today the domaine blends modern practices with a tradition befitting its long history. For this cuvée, Jean-Marc sources grapes from a plot of 50-year-old vines, and due to the steep incline of the vineyards, nearly all vineyard work is done by hand, just has it always has. Winemaking follows regional tradition, utilizing semi-carbonic maceration to preserve the fresh aromas and flavors of black cherry and blueberry, keeping the palate lively and vibrant.
