Nestled between Italy and France, Corsica offers a unique blend of landscapes—mountains on one side, sea on the other. It’s the most mountainous Mediterranean island, with rugged terrain and ample sunlight. Vines thrive at higher elevations, sheltered from strong winds yet benefiting from cool temperatures. This red wine, a blend of Corsican grapes and Mediterranean influences, grows in granite-rich soil, imparting an earthy tone. On the palate, red fruits, spice, and minerals intertwine, followed by Corsican notes of pepper, leather, and wild herbs. Despite its juicy profile, the wine surprises with mellow tannins, defying expectations of concentration.
