Claus Preisinger is a dedicated and passionate winemaker with respect and admiration for all aspects of nature. Certified biodynamic since 2009, his vineyards are farmed utilizing natural fertilizers and homeopathic treatment of the vines to produce wines that are pure, honest and representative of the terroir of the region. This quaffable red is beautifully fresh, exhibiting cherryand red plum along with crushed violets and dried herbs. The dominant varietal in this blend, Zweigelt, provides savory and smoky flavors and aromas to balance out the fruit. As the label suggests, this bright and lively wine is best ‘Gekühlt servieren,’ German for ‘serve chilled.’
