Casa Martelletti takes its name from a historic house in Cocconato d’Asti in Northern Italy with roots going back to the 1700s. Though the winery’s history is rooted in Piedmont, this bottle comes from Veneto, the heartland of Prosecco. Their Prosecco Rosé, made from 90% Glera with 10% Pinot Noir, brings fun and frothy bubbles with notes of red berry, citrus, peach, and a little floral lift. Pretty and polished without being sweet or heavy, the palate is bright and fruity, with just enough softness from the Extra Dry style to keep it friendly and round, while still finishing clean and refreshing.
