Azelia is located in the heart of Barolo and is now run by fifth generation wine producer Lorenzo Scavino and his wife Lorella. Together they are creating highly sought after wines with extreme precision at every step of production. The grapes for this Barolo are sourced from the Bricco Fiasco vineyard which was the first parcel the Scavino family vinified and bottled as a single vineyard back in 1978. The white calcareous soil provides the finished wine with an elegant profile,  gripping tannins, and intense floral aromatics. A strong core of fresh raspberry and cherry on the palate perfectly balances the rich texture and notes of leather and earth.
