The Tijou family has a long history as winemakers in the Loire Valley. They have been refining this craft generation after generation since 1780 and in 1969, Pierre-Yves Tijou took over the management of Domaine de la Soucherie. This rosé of Gamay comes from a schist-dominated lieu-dit called Astrée that lends a freshness to the wine and aids in offering a bright, clean palate. On the nose you will find pomegrante and strawberry followed by juicy flavors with mouth watering acidity that finishes with a delicate hint of herbs. We only get a few of these a year - grab it while you can!
