Ameztoi’s family vineyards, located just outside the small fishing town of Getaria in the Bay of Biscay, have been overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for seven generations. Vibrant, mineral-laden aromas of zippy lemon, green apple and sea salt along with a hint of lively natural effervescence are the hallmarks of this classic wine of the Basque region of Spain. Fans of the quintessential summer quaffer,  Vinho Verde, will find the sparkle in the Txakoli even more delicate and elegant. This wine is all about terroir, as the chalky, mineral-packed, ocean-side soil is reflected beautifully in the wine.
