The mountainous, isolated terrain of Abruzzo allowed the development of winemaking and viticulture to be separate from the close by, historically rich region of Tuscany. Where Tuscany is hard and earthy, Abruzzo is soft and fruity. Most arguably well known for the Montepulciano grape, the region also produces wine from white grapes that are aromatic and fresh such as Pinot Grigio. Grapes grown on hillside vineyards that receive a bountiful Adriatic breeze, along with all stainless steel fermentation, fill this bottle with citrus fruits, mouthwatering acid, and green pears.
