Nikki's Notes:
The sun is out, so I am ready to start enjoying bubbles made by badass women on the porch with Harry Potter in hand (current read). Melanie Pfister creates wines at her family's domaine in Alsace, France. This region shares both a border and a lot of the same characteristics that we would find in German wine: high acid, fruity, and clean. 'Breit' is a single vineyard, traditional method sparkling that is made with mostly Chardonnay and a little bit of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois. Ripe, crunchy green apple and the freshest honeydew melon are accompanied by bright bubbles that keep you coming back for more. Cheers!

What do I like to drink?
My personal order of operations tends to be to choose the wine first, and the food second. With that being said, I am going to naturally lean towards something that is higher in acidity and has plenty of fruit to stand up to food, but not overpower it. I drink it all from Vinho Verdes to a glass of a big Nebbiolo. But as the weather changes, so does my style of wine. Find me in the summer with Txakoli Rosé and in the winter with a bottle of Petite Sirah.
