The Steininger family have won acclaim over the past few years as benchmark producers and ambassadors of Austrian wine. With the mighty Loisium wine museum standing tall amongst their vineyards, wine enthusiasts around the world flock to the village of Langenlois to visit the Steininger vineyards. Acclaimed for their Grüner Veltliner and incredible sparkling wines, the Steiningers put the same care and immaculate attention into their red wines as well. Their Zweigelt, also known as Rotberger in some areas, showcases the darker side of this classic Austrian grape. Ripe, jammy black cherry with a hint of warming spices such as clove and nutmeg.
