Swartland wine lovers know Mullineux, and now you should, too! Grapes for this straw wine are picked from 40+ year old Chenin Blanc vines. After harvest, grapes are laid out outdoors for 2-4 weeks in the shade to allow the excess moisture to evaporate and sugar levels to rise and concentrate flavors. After they have raisined, the grapes are fermented and aged in barrel for 11 months. Enjoy well-balanced acidity with notes of dried apricots, fresh out of the oven lemon meringue pie, and citrus.
