Milan Nestarec has quickly become the star winemaker of the Czech Republic. He continues to cultivate the same 20 acres of vines his father planted back in 2001 and believes that gentle method of growing and processing grapes produces the best results. Therefore, no herbicides are used, and all vines are worked organically. 'Nach,' which translates to 'purple' in Czech, is a blend of Pinot Noir and indigenous grapes Blaufrankisch and St. Laurent. This is a quaffable, versatile, and crowd-pleasing style that is meant to be enjoyed with friends - hence the liter sized bottle. Notes of black cherry, pomegranate, and black currant accompany a juicy mouthfeel and refreshing acidity with very little tannins.
