La Collina is a co-operative farm that was founded with the intention of offering a close knit family environment to those less fortunate that are recovering from drug addiction. Today, La Collina makes some of Emilia-Romagna’s most famous products - Parmigiano Reggiano and Lambrusco - in addition to a plethora of produce, livestock, honey, and pasta. They are Demeter certified and teach biodynamic farming practices through educational field-trips and workshops. They produce their Lambrusco with simple and traditional methods which is beautifully represented in this bright and lively wine. Dark berry aromas lead to a tart and refreshing palate of ripe blackberries and cherries with savory herbs and a gentle earthiness.
