In 2012, Guillaume Striffling assumed stewardship of the family’s vineyards, which have been cultivated since 1678. Embracing a new chapter, he honored this legacy by naming the wine produced from these vineyards Domaine Striffling. Aged in old barrique, this wine is the epitime of Gamay from Morgon boasting richness and a silky texture. Its robust tannins and ripe black fruit flavors create a dense, well-structured profile, delivering substantial weight and clear aging potential while still offering the appeal of immediate enjoyment. A favorite of Sommeliers in Paris, we can now enjoy this offering for the first time stateside.
