Even with Sauvignon Blanc’s growing popularity within Bordeaux, Semillion is still the dominant varietal of the region.  These grapes are blended to produce wines with body from the Semillon and crispness from the Sauvignon Blanc, creating an elegant crowd-pleaser. Chateau Saintongey brings us a lively and refreshing blend that is representative of the vibrant, summery style Bordeaux has to offer.  The wine shows bright herbal notes of lemongrass on the nose, while backed by grapefruit and orange zest. On the palate, ripe citrus and juicy passion fruit with a soft minerality, herbaceous flavors and zippy acidity.  It is packed with flavor and is a great value wine.
