Château de la Bonnelière 'Rive Gauche' Rosé 2023

Although best known for bright and light whites, the Loire Valley also gives us Chinon. Along the bank of the Loire and Vienne Rivers we can find some of the world’s most elegant and outstanding Cabernet Francs, including those from the Plouzeau family of the Bonnelière estate.  All organically farmed, the 30-year-old vines of the ‘Rive Gauche’ sit on just over 12 acres of river gravel and pebbled soil – perfect for producing a refreshing rosé. Red raspberry jumps out on the nose accompanied by herbaceous notes of stawberry tops and tomato leaf that is so characteristically Cabernet Franc. A lively and fresh rosé that contains all the pretty floral notes of its red counterpart.
