This grower’s Champagne house was established in 1770, and has maintained excellence in the Marne Valley ever since. Over about 60 acres, they grow all three main Champagne grapes for their cuvées, including this Pinot Noir dominant rosé. Still red wine makes up the dosage, creating a deep salmon color to match the uplifting red fruit and floral aromas. Apricots and red cherries make up the dry, broad palate with flavors reminiscent of strawberry shortcake.
