Domaine Thet is a new producer to enter the US market that has certainly caught our attention. Dmitry Khlopin is a young yet highly accomplished winemaker, among other things. He has his MBA in the wine and spirits business, a PhD in physics and nanotechnology, is a WSET Level 3 sommelier, and the creator of Optical Cork - a company that performs wine analysis. So it is no surprise that his wines are beautifully crafted and undeniably delicious. His brut rosé is loaded with rich aromas and flavors of cherry, macerated strawberry, hibiscus, and rose petals that are balanced by bright, vibrant acidity.
