Ameztoi’s family vineyards, located just outside the small fishing town of Getaria in the Bay of Biscay, have been overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for seven generations. For their extremely limited rosé, Ignacio uses an equal mix of the indigienous red and white grapes of Txakolina. Sourced from vines up to 150 years old it is deliciously delicate and deceptively flavorful, flaunting notes of rose petals, wild raspberries and lime with a delicate natural spritz. This wine is all about terroir, as the chalky, mineral-packed, ocean-side soil is reflected beautifully in the wine. Grab some of this perennial favorite while you still can!
