We love introducing our guests to new grapes or winemaking regions and when we tasted this bottling from the Skegro Family Winery we knew we had to share it with y’all. They focus on the organic cultivation of indigenous grape varietals in addition to olives, figs, citrus, and pomegranates which helps to promote biodiversity on their farm. By caring for the land and taking a hands-off approach in the cellar the Skegro Family is able to produce beautiful wines with personality that are fully representative of the Herzegovinan terroir. This Blatina based blend is great for fans of Zinfandel with dark, jammy fruit and aromas of violets and dried herbs.
