The Plaimont Cooperative Union, started in 1979, is the brainchild of André Dubosc, a third generation winegrower local to Southwest France. Joined by an enthusiastic team of young winegrowers, he crafted dry white country wines, today recognized as IGP Côtes de Gascogne, revived the Saint Mont appellation, and relaunched Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh from late-harvest grapes. L’Original Rouge is a fruity, easy-drinking red that serves as a perfect table wine for any dinner. Known for its juicy flavors of red cherry and ripe raspberry with some notes of baking spice, this wine offers a fresh, medium bodied casual sipping experience.

Pairings: Classic NC pulled pork sandwich with slaw
