With five different vineyard sites in the southern Langhe, the Cellario family has been making wine from their estate for three generations. Focused on all natural and organic practices in the vineyard and in the cellar, with a focus on local, indigenous Piemontese grapes, like this Grignolino. Spontaneously fermented with native yeast, aged in giant cement and fiberglass tanks, and fun-packed in a liter sized bottle topped with a crown cap, this wine is markedly easy to drink. Light bodied and thirst quenching, the ‘È Grino!’ is the perfect warm weather red. Bright floral and earthy aromas lead to a palate of tart cranberry and pomegranate with just a touch of tannin.
