Three generations of the Michlits family live on their biodynamic farm in Eastern Austria. This working farms raises cattle and pigs as well as grows a variety of crops from corn, to apples, to ancient grains and, of course, a variety of grapes. Werner Michlits, with his wife Angela, continues his family’s tradition of passionately caring for the vines and crafting wine from these pampered grapes. This fun and fresh frizzante was first made by Werner for his wedding day. It’s juicy and filled with flavors of strawberries, blood orange and hibiscus. Finishing with a delicate effervescence, this wine should not be saved just for special celebrations and is the epitome of gluggable.
