In 1963, José Zuccardi planted the first vines on the estate, and, today, it is one of the largest family-owned wineries in Argentina. Third generation winemaker and José’s grandson, Sebastián, leads a young team of agricultural engineers and enologists who are dedicated to studying the terroir and every detail that affects wine quality. This Malbec evokes a strong sense of place (as is the Zuccardi way) and is dedicated to José as an homage to his legacy. Aromas of cocoa nibs, black raspberry, and a hint of green pepper lead to a full-bodied palate with beautifully structured tannins to accompany the rich, opulent fruit notes.
