Master Sommelier Greg Harrington walked away from a storied career in some of the finest restaurants in America to become a winemaker. He and his wife Pam moved from NYC to Walla Walla, Washington in 2005 to open Gramercy Cellars, and they’ve never looked back. While Gramercy primarily produces wines from Rhone grapes, Greg couldn’t resist trying his hand at Cabernet Sauvignon in a region where it thrives. The ‘Lower East’ Cab is a blend of their estate vineyards and purchased fruit with an eye towards making elegant rather than powerful wine. Ripe raspberry and black currant fruits blend seemlessly with wafts of Turkish spices, rose hips, and vanilla.

Pairings:
Glazed meatloaf with mashed potatoes
