Pierre Morin aggressively prunes and limits yields to ensure that only the best fruit is coming in from the fields to make clean and pristine wines from his organic vineyards in the Loire Valley. The result is a concentrated wine focused on the beautiful marriage of fruit and terroir. Sancerre, mostly known for producing world-class Sauvignon Blanc, is bountiful with chalky soils – a great place for also growing Pinot Noir. For this rosé, the grapes are pressed immediately after harvest resulting in a salmon pink color and notes of strawberry, tangerine, and roses with a chalky minerality and a long, juicy finish.
