Envínate is the result of a shared vision of 4 young winemakers who met while studying enology at the University of Miguel Hernandez and decided they were going to personally revive a number of dying art forms in the Spanish winemaking world. Ambitious, certainly, but they don’t just talk the talk – they use no chemicals at all in the vineyard, harvest by hand, foot trod press, and wild yeast ferment their wines. This isn’t the easy way to make wine, but the ‘right’ way according to them, and we’re certainly pleased with the resulting wine that shows wild spices, tart raspberry and ocean sand minerality on the nose and palate, with a live, vibrant tension start to finish.
