Dorcha is the passion project of Izidor Vehovar, a third-generation vintner who diverges from tradition towards a more approachable winemaking ethos. Embracing local practices, Izidor crafts pure, dynamic wines that reflect the terroir. Influenced by neighbor Nick Gee of Heaps Good Wine Co., Vehovar blends tradition with modern techniques, introducing exciting, naturally made wines to his family's legacy. His pet-nat rosé, made from sustainably farmed Blaufrankisch and fermented spontaneously with wild yeast, exudes flavors of tart raspberry, ruby grapefruit, and crisp watermelon. It boasts a palate with bright acidity, lively bubbles, and a juicy, refreshing finish.
