Cantina di Sorbara is a winemaking cooperative in the heart of Emilia-Romagna that focuses on producing world class Lambrusco from its native regional varietals.Founded in 1903 by Gino Friedman, the story behind the ‘Emma’ label is said to be a tribute to Gino’s home, Villa Emma, that was used as a safe house for Jewish children during WWII. Magenta in color, this Lambrusco toes the line of semi-sweetness with juicy red cherryand ripe strawberry fruit. Floral notes accentuate the candied fruit and the frothy bubbles makes this a refreshing beverage that can accompany spicy charcuterie and regional cheeses.
