A younger house that was founded in 1965, Henri Sélèque had the help of his father-in-law planting his first rows of vines on his 19 acres that stretch across seven villages in the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs. ‘Soliste’ is sourced from Les Gayères, a lieu-dit of Pinot Noir planted in 1975. Aged on the lees in bottle under cork for four years, this is a full-bodied and complex style. The bouquet boasts white apple, peach, hazelnut, dried flowers, and a touch of buttery oak. The palate is bright with a refined mousse and a long, balanced finish.
