A shared passion for wine united Antonella and Rodrigo Redmont in 2004. Captivated by Loreto Aprutino's alluring landscape and rich agricultural history, they decided to not just make their home there but plant vineyards and a grove of olive trees. They named their project 'Ilauri' after the laurel trees that grow in abundance in the area. This is their Montepulciano rosé made in the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC. The wines produced here are always made from the Montepulciano grape and spend less time macerating on the grape skins than your typical red Montepulciano. This results in a bright cherry red color and rich fruit flavors of raspberry, macerated strawberry, and blood orange.
