Fontaine du Clos sits in an enviable position between Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueyras, and the peaks of Montmirail and Ventoux. For many years they practiced as vineyard experts and ampelographers and boasts one of the most prestigious vine nurseries in France, producing vines and rootstocks for growers throughout the country. It was only a matter of time until they decided to apply their knowledge towards starting their own winemaking operation. This is a broad and full-bodied Rhône blend that shows the darker side of black cherry and black currant fruit with peppery spices and rustic tannins on the finish.
